ASUS VivoBook Pro 14 Launched: Price and Specifications

ASUS has launched a new VivoBook model in China, complete with AMD Cezanne processors and a high-refresh-rate OLED screen. Dubbed as the ASUS VivoBook Pro 14, it offers significant upgrades over the existing Ryzen-powered VivoBook lineup which made its way to India earlier this year. It’s been a while since we’ve seen a new ASUS VivoBook Pro 14 variant. The version sold in India comes with a 15-inch screen and nearly four-year-old hardware. Furthermore, the bezels on the new ASUS VivoBook Pro 14 seem to be a bit smaller, too. Let’s take a look at some of the new features and specifications offered by the notebook.

The entry-level ASUS VivoBook Pro 14 costs RMB 4,599 (approx Rs 52,000) in China. The slightly upgraded variant will set you back by RMB 4,999 (approx Rs 57,100). Whether or not ASUS will launch these notebooks internationally remains to be seen.

ASUS VivoBook Pro 14 Specifications

Keeping up with modern form factors, the ASUS VivoBook Pro 14 offers a 14-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels (16:10 aspect ratio). It has a refresh rate of 90Hz and a peak brightness of 600 nits. Other features include 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and 10-bit color. It is undoubtedly one of the more color-accurate displays out there, making it an attractive buy for creative professionals who do color-sensitive work.

Under the hood, the ASUS VivoBook Pro 14 lets you choose between an AMD Ryzen 5 5600H or a Ryzen 7 5800H CPU, coupled with 16GB of DDR4 3,200MHz RAM and 512GB of solid-state storage. There is no option to add a dedicated dGPU, forcing users to stick to the included Radeon iGPU. The notebook draws power from a 50Wh battery and has a power button that doubles up as a fingerprint sensor. Lastly, it also comes with a privacy shutter for its webcam.
