J. Cole released his new album “The Off-Season” recording includes last week’s “Interlude” and boasts production by Timbaland, Boi-1da, regular collaborators T-Minus, J. Cole and many more. All five studio records by J. Cole were certified platinum by the RIAA. The last three – 2014 Forest Hills Drive, 4 Your Eyez Only and KOD – have become known as “platinum without any features.” In a 2019 report with Allison P. In other news from J. Cole, it is reported that the rapper is signing with Patriots Basketball Club to play for the Rwandan team in the first season of the African Basketball League. The Patriots are scheduled to play their first BAL game this Sunday, May 16, against Nigerian team Rivers Hoopers. Cole played basketball at Terry Sanford High School in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He joined the team at St. John’s University, but decided to focus on his education and music. His two early mixtapes, The Warm Up and Friday Night Lights, had basketball-themed covers.
