Samsung is planning to launch several new smartphones of the existing series in India in the coming months. Earlier this week, we announced the arrival of the Galaxy A22 and Galaxy F22 smartphones in the country, now a new report shows the arrival of another Galaxy A series device, which is the Galaxy A85 5G smartphone. Well, these are not rumors, but the company itself has confirmed the device.
The South Korean smartphone maker has inadvertently confirmed the upcoming Galaxy A82 5G, the successor to the recently launched Galaxy A72 5G, which will not yet be available in India. The company has already put the smartphone on its list of devices that meet the criteria for quarterly security updates, which hints at an imminent launch. Android Central was the first to report this.
Samsung Galaxy A82 5G
According to the rumors and leaks circulating on the Internet, the recently released Galaxy Quantum 2 could appear as the Galaxy A82 5G in the global market including India. Does this mean the Galaxy A82 5G will have the same feature set as the Quantum 2?
In this case, the upcoming Galaxy A82 5G will have a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen with 1440p resolution. The smartphone will include three cameras on the back, including a 64MP primary image sensor paired with a 12MP ultra-wide and 5MP macro lens. A 10-megapixel sensor will be installed on the front of the phone.
Then again, if the Galaxy A82 5G is indeed an updated version of the Galaxy Quantum 2, the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC. There will be a 4500 mAh battery.
Besides the Galaxy A82 5G, Samsung is developing several other smartphones for the Indian market, including the Galaxy A52 5G.
